Incompatible Ultimea Devices

The SUB 10/12 active subwoofer is not compatible with Ultimea Soundbars designed to work with passive subwoofers, including but not limited to:

  • Aura Series
  • Poseidon M60, Poseidon M60 Boom, etc.
  • Skywave F Series
  • Nova Series
  • Other Ultimea models designed for passive subwoofers

For these devices, the original passive subwoofer is specifically matched to the main unit. Even if the device has a Sub Out or Sub Port, the output may provide a high-level signal intended for the original passive subwoofer. It is not necessarily suitable for an active subwoofer.

We do not recommend replacing the original passive subwoofer with an active subwoofer, as differences in signal level, impedance, power requirements, connector type, and wiring configuration may cause compatibility issues or damage the equipment.

Compatible Ultimea Devices

The SUB 10/12 supports connections through a Sub Out port (RCA ) that provides a low-level audio signal below 2V. Compatible Ultimea devices include:

  • Apollo S40
  • Apollo S40 Pro
  • Poseidon M20
  • Poseidon M20 Pro
  • Solo Series
  • Bookshelf Speaker Series, such as BS3 and BS2

Compatibility must be confirmed for the specific model and output specifications before connecting.

⚠️ Important Notice

Before connecting the SUB 10/12 active subwoofer, whether directly to a soundbar's Sub Out Port (RCA) or through a Dongle, please verify that the signal output is a low-level audio signal below 2V.

  • Connecting an incompatible output may cause the Dongle or active subwoofer to malfunction or become damaged.

If you cannot confirm that the RCA output signal is below 2V and suitable for an active subwoofer, please contact the respective seller's customer service team to verify, and contact our customer service team at support@ultimea.com for compatibility confirmation before proceeding.
