You can check the firmware version, app version, and wireless adapter version in the Ultimea App by going to Settings → Device Information.

OTA Update Instructions
  • App‑based Upgrade
(1) When a new version is available, the Ultimea App will display a “New Version Available” notification on the device page.
(2) Tap Update to begin the upgrade. We recommend keeping the subwoofer and your phone within 5 meters of each other to maintain a stable BLE connection.
(3) The update typically takes approximately 13–14 minutes on Android and 8–9 minutes on iOS.
(4) During the update, do not disconnect the power, exit the app, or switch the app to the background. Please keep the Ultimea App running in the foreground until the update is complete.
(5) The firmware uses a dual-backup mechanism. If the update fails or the device loses power unexpectedly during the process, the system will automatically roll back to the previous firmware version, ensuring that the device can start up and operate normally.

  • USB Upgrade
(1) Copy the update file to the root directory of a FAT32-formatted USB drive (only one single file is allowed; firmware files are model‑specific and shall not be used for other models).
(2) With the subwoofer powered on, insert the USB drive into the USB port on the rear panel.
(3) Press and hold the PHASE button on the rear panel for 5s.
(4) When the 0° indicator starts flashing slowly, the device has entered the update mode.
(5) The update takes no more than 15 minutes. Once the update is successfully completed, the device will restart automatically.

  • Wireless Adapter Upgrade
(1) Connect the wireless adapter to the USB port on the subwoofer. The Ultimea App will automatically detect the adapter's firmware version. If a newer version is available, the adapter can be updated at the same time.
(2) During the update, the adapter indicator will flash slowly. Once the update is complete, the adapter will automatically reconnect to the subwoofer.

  • Troubleshooting During an Update
(1) BLE connection is interrupted during the update:
If the firmware has not finished downloading, the device will retain the original firmware version and can still start up and operate normally.
(2) The device suddenly loses power during the update:
After the device is powered on again, the system will automatically roll back to the previous firmware version.
(3) The update fails:
After restarting, the device will automatically roll back to the previous firmware version.
(4) The Ultimea App cannot reconnect to the device after the update:
Delete the device record from the Ultimea App → Disconnect the subwoofer from power for 3–5 minutes → Power the subwoofer back on → Pair and reconnect the device.

If the issue persists after multiple update attempts, please check the current firmware version and contact customer service at support@ultimea.com. When contacting us, please provide the current version information so that we can further assist you.
