How to Fix No Sound on the Skywave X40 Surround Speakers?

  1. Check that the surround speaker adapter is properly connected and ensure the surround speaker indicator light is functioning normally.

  2. Verify whether the surround speaker indicator light is steady. A steady light indicates a normal connection with the main unit. If the light is blinking, follow the steps below to re-pair:
    a. Facing the main unit display, press and hold the “Surround Level” button on the remote for more than 5 seconds until the main unit displays “SUR” to enter pairing mode.
    b. Press and hold the surround speaker button for more than 5 seconds until it enters fast-blinking pairing mode, then release.

    c. Once pairing is successful, the surround speaker indicator light will remain steady.


  3. Power off and restart the unit, or perform a factory reset if necessary.

  4. If you are connecting to a TV, please set the TV's audio output format to PCM and test if there is surround sound.
