Improvement Point:

① Vocals are clearer

② The EQ display logic is updated

Upgrade Method:

1. Download and Copy the "update.zip" file in the attachment to a USB flash drive
Note:
①the USB flash drive is empty and has a capacity of less than 128GB
②you don't need to unzip the file, just copy it to a USB flash drive.

2. When the Soundbar is powered on, insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the Soundbar, and then the Soundbar will upgrade automatically and display the progress from 1 to 100.

3. After the upgrade is completed, the Soundbar will automatically standby;
4. After the Soundbar is turned on, pls check the software, press and hold the "MUSIC" button on the remote control for 5 seconds, and then the display will show V98, which indicates that the upgrade has been successful.

If the sound quality of the factory version meets your requirements, we do not recommend switching software versions. If you have any questions, please contact support@ultimea.com

    1. Upgrade the version V98 software again (the software already downloaded in the USB flash disk does not need to be deleted, and can be upgraded directly).
    2. After the software upgrade is completed, unplug the adapter for 5s and then turn on the device again.

    I can download the update.zip file but it's impossible to install or even unzip it. When I try to unzip it the error message says the file is corrupt/damaged or not a zip file.

    Hello Stefano,
    Yes, V98 is the latest and most comprehensively covered and improved version. It includes lowering the Bluetooth beep and volume, the same improvement points mentioned in V93 and T093.

    Does V98 allow EQ adjustment? The HF and high mids are a bit down, & I cannot see if they are adjustable other than the movie, music & game presets.

    Hello Mike Cooper,
    V98 has increased the bass adjustment range to -2~2; you can adjust the Bass and EQ together to achieve a good audio effect.
    The soundbar doesn't have other EQ modes and more self-customized EQ adjustment functions, it needs to be achieved by APP, and our product developers are planning to implement this function. But it will take some time. Please Stay tuned~

    Hello Ramtin,
    After we sent the suggestion for re-upgrading, JC finally replied "Thanks you that worked", so the problem should have been solved successfully.
    If there is a bug after upgrading (a probabilistic problem and relatively small), you can try to upgrade the software again or switch to the original factory version.
    Upgrading the software will not damage the soundbar, but it is not recommended to switch the software more than 3 times.

    Have you encountered this problem with other versions of your soundbar?
    Could you please try to restore the factory settings?
    If there are still problems when other versions, could you please contact us and send us a video of the problem at support@ultimea.com
    We will analyze the problem and give you a solution.
    If the problem occurs only with T11.1, we recommend you reinstall the soundbar to another software version.

    I have the v98 firmware installed & everything connects by e-arc, all generally good. However as I need to add a little high mid fz and hf, for nor I’m using a player on my Firestick (VLC) that has EQ adjustment. It is not always possible to do this, so I’m very pleased to hear you are developing an app to control the S50 including an EQ (hopefully graphic). It will make your product much more complete. I see LG already do this. If you want a beta tester, as a retired sound engineer, I would be very happy to do so. Kind regards, Mike Cooper

    I am unable to apply any updates. I download the zip file, but when transferring to a USB drive, once copied I receive the message 'Please insert the last disk of the Multi-Volume set and click OK to continue'. If I press OK, it just gives me the message again. I click cancel and the zip file appears to be on the USB drive, but the soundbar does not update when the USB is connected. It recognises the drive, but does not update.

    Ciao. Mi fa un difetto quando è in modalità Music su alcuni canali tv si sente altissimo e invece quando cambio in altri canali ha un volume audio normale. Difetto che non fa in Game e Movie il volume audio è uguale su tutti i canali. Come posso risolvere? Versione V93

    To all of you that face issues with the soundbar not recognizing the update, just use a different USB stick. I had two USB sticks that didnt work while the third one worked.

    I have tried 4 different brands of stick, different sizes and different formats. The downloaded file throws the error as soon as it is downloaded, either to the PC or direct to the stick. What operating system are you using?

    I have tried in both Ubuntu and Windows, truth is in Ubuntu I don't get the copy error. 
    As a workaround, can you manually specify the USB stick as the download folder for the update?
    As soon as the file appears in the stick, any errors don't matter afterwards.
    In my case, my 64GB SanDisk was not recognized, but a random 4GB one was. You can also check if the USB is compatible by trying to copy and play mp3 files in the soundbar. If the soundbar doesn't like the disk drive, mp3's won't play at all.

    Ultimea, please advise on the error message when saving the update.zip. I tried multiple USB drives, tried downloading straight to the drive, but nothing has worked. 

    The exact thing is happening with the v93 file.

     

    UPDATE
    I reformatted the USB drive to exFAT, then downloaded the update.zip straight to the USB drive, I still got the error, just ignored it, disconnected the USB drive, and connected it to the soundbar. It will automatically start the update process.

    Give it a try, worked for me!

    Before upgrading for better sound. I was using the Cec-hdmi control of system power and volume while using the optical input for sound. It was working fine. I upgraded to the latest firmware and now the Tv will recognize the soundbar and display volume control but the soundbar will not turn the volume up or down. The quality of the sound is greatly improved. It states it downloaded the version. But I lost control through hdmi.

    Or for a workaround what is the factory remote code? So I can self program a firestick remote.

    Is an update possible so that Windows detects the soundbar via HDMI? even if it is adding an extra screen as happens with other soundbars.
