The background noise or hissing sound you may hear from the rear surround speakers of the Nova S90 is usually caused by wireless interference or volume imbalance. Here are a few suggestions to resolve the issue:
✅ Recommended Solutions:
1. Lower the surround and upward speaker volume
Set the surround speaker volume and upward-firing speaker volume to -2 or -3 using the remote control. This can help reduce unwanted background noise in non-Dolby Atmos content.
2. Avoid interference sources
Make sure the soundbar and surround speakers are not placed near wireless routers, cordless phones, microwaves, or other devices that may cause signal interference.
3. Update to firmware version V190
If you are not playing Dolby Atmos content, we recommend installing firmware version V190, which includes optimizations for PCM and stereo sources.
