1. Connect the audio cable from your soundbar to your TV or other devices.
Note: You don’t need a separate audio connection if:
The soundbar does not require a separate audio connection when it is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC or when a device is connected to the HDMI IN port on the soundbar.
2. On your TV, check the audio settings:
Make sure the audio output is set to “HDMI sound system” (or equivalent).
Ensure the audio output format is compatible with the soundbar (start with stereo/PCM for testing).
3. Verify the soundbar status:
Confirm that ARC mode is active on the soundbar.
Check your TV for any error messages related to audio output (e.g., “unable to switch to external audio system”).
4. Using the remote control, select the correct audio input on the soundbar. Ensure the soundbar is not muted.
5. If the problem persists, reset the soundbar to its factory settings. There are 2 ways to achieve a factory reset:
1. Power on, and long press the remote "MUTE" 5S to release to restore the factory settings. The soundbar LED will show the “REST”.
2. Select "Restore Default" in the Soundbar App's Settings.
If you have already completed the troubleshooting steps above, performing this reset may restore functionality; however, if the issue persists, please contact us at support@ultimea.com for prompt assistance.
