Application: Connect to TVs for transmitting high-definition audio (e.g., Dolby Atmos).
Steps:
Use an HDMI cable to connect the soundbar’s HDMI eARC/ARC port to the TV’s HDMI eARC/ARC port.
Select HDMI ARC as the audio output in the TV settings, and switch the soundbar’s input mode to HDMI.
Notes:
Use a high-speed HDMI cable (supporting 4K/ARC) to avoid signal issues. Enable "CEC control" in the TV’s settings for synchronized power on/off (if available).
2. Optical (OPTICAL) Connection
Application: Connect to TVs, gaming consoles (e.g., PS5/Xbox), or set-top boxes.
Steps:
Insert one end of an optical cable into the soundbar’s OPTICAL port and the other end into the device’s optical audio output.
Select OPT as the input mode on the soundbar.
Notes:
Avoid sharp bending of the optical cable to prevent signal degradation.
Set the device’s audio format to PCM (uncompressed) if the soundbar fails to recognize it.
3. Bluetooth Connection
Application: Connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, laptops).
Steps:
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the soundbar or remote until the indicator blinks (pairing mode).
Search for "Skywave F40" in the Bluetooth settings of your device and select it.
The indicator will stay solid blue when connected successfully.
Notes:
Effective range: ~10 meters (33 feet); keep away from metal obstacles.
If disconnected, press and hold the Bluetooth button to reconnect.
4. USB Connection
Application: Play audio files (e.g., MP3) from a USB drive.
Steps:
Plug the USB drive into the soundbar’s USB port; the device will automatically detect and play the files.
Switch to USB mode via the remote control or soundbar buttons to select tracks.
Notes:
Supports USB drives formatted as FAT32 (maximum 32GB recommended).
Does not support encrypted or NTFS-formatted drives.
Note: Our product does not include an AUX port. This design choice reflects our focus on delivering a higher-quality audio experience. By using pure digital transmission through HDMI and Optical (TOSLINK), the system provides cleaner, lossless sound and stronger resistance to interference compared to traditional analog AUX connections. This approach aligns with modern standards for high-fidelity audio. For compatibility with older devices, we recommend using an AUX-to-Optical or AUX-to-HDMI converter.
