Must read before upgrading:
1. If the sound quality of the factory version meets your requirements or your current software version is already V149, we do not recommend switching software versions.
2. There is a version detection method at the bottom of the page
Improvement Point:
- Improved EQ Performance
- Optimized Audio Quality
- Enhanced Sound Clarity
- Improved Sound Balance
Upgrade Method:
1. Download and Copy the "update.zip" file in the attachment to a USB flash drive
Note:
①the USB flash drive is empty and has a capacity of less than 128GB
②you don't need to unzip the file, just copy it to a USB flash drive.
2. When the Soundbar is powered on, insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the Soundbar, and then the Soundbar will upgrade automatically and display the progress from 1 to 100.
3. After the upgrade is completed, the Soundbar will automatically standby;
4. After the Soundbar is turned on, pls check the software, press and hold the "MUSIC" button on the remote control for 5 seconds, and then the display will show V149, which indicates that the upgrade has been successful.

Hello Ultimea,
Couple questions:
1) When new SW update will be released with fixed issues of subwoofer level and and eARC sound level?
2) When S50 will be supported by App?
Thanks.
I have the same Problems with Hisense TV. Plugged the Soundbar with eArc in TV (HDMI) and its shutting down every two seconds. On / Off / On / Off / On / Off.
I only have plugged the Soundbar in. Every other HDMI has been disconnected for testing. No Solution!
Try turning them off at the wall socket (whilst still connected to the TV) for a few seconds and then turning back on
Hisense TV's had a software update recently which I believe has caused issues with CEC on eARC.
It goes On / Off / On / Off / On etc. every 2s and when it does start will only connect as ARC so no Dolby Atmos; seems the Ultimea software is conflicting with the Hisense CEC update.
What is the best version of SW to use with Hisense TV? Old SW version was not in sync with TV - Nova S50 set at 1 but TV is at 15 so reducing volume would cut off S50 sound!
Me too I had this problem quoting others here:

Same here, conflict with new Hisense TV firmware - On / Off / On / Off... Any solutions, Ultimea? Please help us!
it's the same thing for me, like the previous messagethat I copy and paste." conflict with new Hisense TV firmware - On / Off / On / Off".
Please @Ultimea solve this conflict with the hdmi ARC port/CEC of the Hisense TV
Adding the Nova S50 to the application and enabling manual sound adjustment would be fantastic.
I have just upgraded from v131 to v149 and I am very pleased with the results.
I now have a Hisense TV with EARC and it performs well with the soundbar whereas my previous LG with just ARC wasn't nearly so good.
I found that the overall sound is clearer but you do have to wind the bass up to maximum where before I had it on 0. In my case, I have just enough bass but other users may want more? It's still a shame that there is not more control over the bass and treble settings instead of presets which may not be to everyone's taste. As per other users, I did have trouble getting the update to run but eventually I cleared all previous versions before downloading the new one and that worked.
Is there an upcoming update for the Nova S50, please?
Hello everyone. Firstly, I want to thank for this update. It solved my problem with the bass and now I can use it at -5 just as I like.
Secondly, after this update my tv stop sending dolby signals to the soundbar when it's in auto mode. I fixed it with changing the sound setting "pass through" audio output to make sure my tv sending native dolby sound signals to the soundbar when available.
And third of all, if you have any issue to connect the usb drive for the updates or play music; make sure the usb drive has only one partition and using MBR (master boot record). Otherwise the soundbar cannot read the usb drive.
