Ultimea Support
Ultimea Support

Improvement Point:

① Vocals are clearer

② The EQ display logic is updated

Upgrade Method:

1. Download and Copy the "update.zip" file in the attachment to a USB flash drive
Note:
①the USB flash drive is empty and has a capacity of less than 128GB
②you don't need to unzip the file, just copy it to a USB flash drive.

2. When the Soundbar is powered on, insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the Soundbar, and then the Soundbar will upgrade automatically and display the progress from 1 to 100.

3. After the upgrade is completed, the Soundbar will automatically standby;
4. After the Soundbar is turned on, pls check the software, press and hold the "MUSIC" button on the remote control for 5 seconds, and then the display will show V98, which indicates that the upgrade has been successful.

Note:

If the sound quality of the factory version meets your requirements, we do not recommend switching software versions. If you have any questions, please contact support@ultimea.com

Hi everyone! I'd like to propose a modification to the user interface. Currently, if I decrease the volume and then swiftly press the button to turn off the LED, the system inadvertently switches back to activating the LED as it displays the current source (such as AUX). In my opinion, a better approach would be to ensure that once the LED-off button is pressed, the LEDs remain off regardless of any subsequent button presses, until I decide to press the LED button again to turn them back on. This change would ensure the LEDs stay off as intended, enhancing user control and experience.

Update: Additionally, I've noticed an issue where, with the lights turned off, attempting to increase the volume requires two presses. The first press only activates the display, and the second press actually increases the volume. This behavior adds unnecessary steps for the user and could be streamlined for a smoother experience.

    Hello Frank Mensching and everyone.
I apologize for not being able to check and respond to your messages promptly.
Regarding the copy-to-computer prompt issue, we encountered it once when we were testing, and then I deleted the file and re-downloaded it.
The USB stick is as empty as possible first.
After downloading, copy the package directly to a USB stick (don't try to open the file)
Then directly insert the USB stick into the soundbar to upgrade.

If you still have this problem, we recommend formatting the USB stick. Try again.
Looking forward to your further feedback.

If the customer reports a PC prompt of "Please insert the last disk of the multi-volume set and click OK to continue" when copying the software, please try clicking "OK". Click multiple times to see if the pop-up window will not continue
We have tested several times and collected some methods from other customers, hope it will help you.
    1. Please delete the current software installation package in the USB memory stick, then download and directly copy the "update.zip" file to the USB memory stick again.
    Note:
① Please do not try to open or decompress the "update.zip" file
② Please format the USB memory stick, before copying, please make sure the USB memory stick is empty, and keep only this one file.

    2. USB flash drive format: FAT/ ex-FAT/FAT32; capacity less than 128GB.
Note: FAT32 format may have this problem, please format it as ex-FAT

    3. After copying, you can right-click on the USB flash drive device name, select "pop-up", and then unplug the USB flash drive.

If you still get a pop-up message, please ignore it, then plug the U stick into the soundbar directly to process the upgrade.

    Hello AP.
    Thank you for your suggestion.
Currently, the LED work logic is:
The 60s without any operation, will automatically turn off the LED display or turn off the display by pressing the LED on the remote control, after the screen is off, the user can wake up the screen by pressing any key on the remote control.

This way is to avoid the problem that some customers don't know how to wake up the screen and mistakenly think that the product can't work.
In addition, the reason for pressing the first time to wake up the LED and the second time to activate the corresponding button function is to avoid the problem of customers or children touching the remote control by mistake and changing the original adjusted settings directly.

We will send your suggestion back to our product department and collect any other customers who have the same suggestion.
Thank you for your support and understanding! We will try our best to do better!

Hi Ultimea Support, thanks for your quick response and the explanation! Based on your Feedback I would like to add another proposal - I hope I don't annoy you with that :D

I think that there are two categories of buttons.

The first category consists of the 5 source buttons and the mute button. They should be protected by the "press twice" mechanism (wake up + change setting) since they could break the experience (e.g. watching a movie) when accidentally tapped.

    The second category consists of:

    • play/pause
    • volume up/down
    • movie/game/music

When either of these buttons is pressed I don't need (nor want) to look at the soundbar to see the changes I made as

    1. I get immediate feedback on the screen (e.g. movie pauses) or I can hear the difference (volume up/down)
    2. These buttons wouldn't directly break the experience when accidentally pressed

That being sad I still do understand that people could be running into some issues with these changes. Maybe you could add this as a hidden feature or by pressing the "LED"-button for a longer period.

Anyways I want to mention that it is great having a direct contact to you guys and the possibility of sharing ideas!

    Best regards

    AP

I second the request for the APP in order to EQ. It was scheduled or estimated for months ago. One of the reasons I bought it.

Hello everyone, the Ultimea app is currently only available for the upcoming new Poseidon D70 and Solo B30 Soundbar. Other models are still awaiting further testing by technical engineers and will be announced and applied to more models as soon as they are tested.

It's been 8 months minimum, I have no faith you are even making the Nova S50 compatible.
Its a pretty simple job that one person who knows what they are doing could implement in a few days.

Any developments on the app?  I noticed that it has been released but no support for the S50 yet?

    Ultimea Support

    Hello Tony UK Mobile,
Thank you for reaching out to us and I apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the ULTIMEA App.

Nova S50 is considered an earlier model in our product lineup and is not yet supported by the app. Integrating these earlier models into the app is a complex process that requires significant time and effort. Our software engineers are diligently working on this, but it may take some time to support these models fully. The exact time of realization depends on the implementation.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our app's compatibility.
