Why Can’t My Device Receive Auracast Audio from Some Brands (e.g., JBL)?

Auracast is an open broadcast audio technology, but different brands may adopt different implementation strategies, such as device discovery methods, reception policies, or compatibility ranges.

In some cases, certain devices may have specific reception filtering mechanisms enabled, and therefore cannot receive all broadcast signals.

For a more stable experience, we recommend prioritizing connections between devices of the same brand or those with better compatibility. We are also continuously optimizing compatibility performance.

You can turn off the "Ultimea‑only" option in the APP to improve interoperability between devices. In this mode, the device broadcasts and receives in a more universal way, which helps improve the connection success rate with devices from different brands.
