Recommended Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check the Surround Speaker Indicator Status
- Please confirm whether the issue occurs with only one surround speaker or both surround speakers at the same time.
- Check whether the indicator light on the surround speaker is flashing when the audio cuts out.
- If the indicator light is flashing, the issue is likely related to an unstable wireless connection or a lost connection.
- Under normal circumstances, the surround speakers should automatically pair with the soundbar after being powered on. If they do not pair automatically, please proceed with manual pairing.
2. Re-Pair the Surround Speakers
How to Pair the Subwoofer and Surround speakers with the Skywave F40 Air Soundbar?
- Press and hold the “Xumpix” button on the remote for about 5 seconds until “PAIR” starts flashing on the soundbar display.
- Then, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the surround speakers for about 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- Once pairing is successful, “PAIR” will stop flashing on the soundbar, and the surround speaker indicators will remain solid.
3. Check for Wireless Interference and Speaker Placement
- Ensure no major obstructions or wireless interference between the soundbar and surround speakers.
- Keep surround speakers away from routers, microwaves, and other wireless devices.
- For testing, place the surround speakers within 1 meter of the soundbar to rule out distance or environmental interference.
4. Power Cycle the System
- Turn off the soundbar and surround speakers.
- Unplug the power adapters of both the soundbar and the surround system at the same time.
- Wait for about 5 minutes. Reconnect the power and wait for the devices to pair automatically, then test the system.
- If the speakers do not pair automatically after the first restart, you can try powering the system off and on several times to see if automatic pairing can be restored.
5. Restore Factory Settings
- Press and hold the Mute button on the remote for about 5 seconds to restore the system to factory settings.
- After the factory reset is complete, re-pair all four surround speakers.
6. Test with Different Content or Connection Methods
- If the audio dropout occurs while watching a specific video, movie, or when using a particular connection method, please try playing different content to determine whether the issue is related to a specific audio source.
- You can also try different input methods, such as HDMI, Optical, or Bluetooth, to determine whether the issue only occurs with a specific connection method.
If the issue persists after following the steps above, the device may be faulty. Please contact our support team at support@ultimea.com for further assistance.
