Recommended Troubleshooting Steps

1. Check the Surround Speaker Indicator Status

  1. Please confirm whether the issue occurs with only one surround speaker or both surround speakers at the same time.
  2. Check whether the indicator light on the surround speaker is flashing when the audio cuts out.
  3. If the indicator light is flashing, the issue is likely related to an unstable wireless connection or a lost connection.
  4. Under normal circumstances, the surround speakers should automatically pair with the soundbar after being powered on. If they do not pair automatically, please proceed with manual pairing.
2. Re-Pair the Surround Speakers

How to Pair Surround Speakers to the Skywave X100 Dual Soundbar?

  1. Press and hold the “Surround Level” button on the remote for about 5 seconds until “SUR” starts flashing on the soundbar display.
  2. Then, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the surround speakers for about 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
  3. Please note: All four surround speakers need to be paired together during the pairing process. Even if only one surround speaker is disconnected, please press and hold the pairing buttons on all four surround speakers at the same time until the indicators start flashing rapidly, then complete the pairing process together.
  4. Once pairing is successful, “SUR” will stop flashing on the soundbar, and the surround speaker indicators will remain solid.

3. Check for Wireless Interference and Speaker Placement

  1. Ensure no major obstructions or wireless interference between the soundbar and surround speakers.
  2. Keep surround speakers away from routers, microwaves, and other wireless devices.
  3. For testing, place the surround speakers within 1 meter of the soundbar to rule out distance or environmental interference.

4. Power Cycle the System

  1. Turn off the soundbar and surround speakers.
  2. Unplug the power adapters of both the soundbar and the surround system at the same time.
  3. Wait for about 5 minutes. Reconnect the power and wait for the devices to pair automatically, then test the system.
  4. If the speakers do not pair automatically after the first restart, you can try powering the system off and on several times to see if automatic pairing can be restored.

5. Restore Factory Settings

  1. Press and hold the Mute button on the remote for about 5 seconds to restore the system to factory settings.
  2. After the factory reset is complete, re-pair all four surround speakers.

6. Check the Firmware Version (This method applies to intermittent disconnection or audio dropout issues.)

  1. Open the Ultimea App and check the current software/firmware version of the device.
  2. If a new firmware update is available, please follow the instructions in the App to complete the update. The surround speakers must be successfully paired before the software/firmware update can be performed. This may help improve issues such as the surround speakers disconnecting automatically or experiencing intermittent audio loss.

7. Test with Different Content or Connection Methods (This method applies to audio dropout issues.)

  1. If the audio dropout occurs while watching a specific video, movie, or when using a particular connection method, please try playing different content to determine whether the issue is related to a specific audio source.
  2. You can also try different input methods, such as HDMI, Optical, or Bluetooth, to determine whether the issue only occurs with a specific connection method.

If the issue persists after following the steps above, the device may be faulty. Please contact our support team at support@ultimea.com for further assistance.
