The Aura S4T includes a new Surround Vocal Reduce (also called SurroundX). This function uses an algorithm to reduce vocals in the surround channels, simulating a Dolby-style channel separation effect. It enhances the spatial presence of background music and surround sound effects, providing a more immersive movie-watching experience.
Feature behavior:
1. When Surround Vocal Reduce is enabled:
The vocals in the surround channels will be reduced. However, the vocals cannot be completely removed; the function only lowers the proportion of vocals in the surround audio.
2. When Surround Vocal Reduce is disabled:
Vocals in the surround channels will be preserved as normal.
Important notes:
This feature is only available in MOVIE mode. In MOVIE mode, Surround Vocal Reduce is enabled by default, with the default level set to Level 2. If you switch to other EQ modes, use a custom EQ, or adjust treble/midrange/bass settings, this feature will automatically turn off.
How to enable or disable Surround Vocal Reduce:
- Press and hold the “Prompt Tone” button on the remote control for 5 seconds to toggle the Surround Vocal Reduce feature on or off.
- The remote can only turn this feature on or off. If you want to adjust the reduction level, please use the Ultimea app and upgrade your soundbar to the latest firmware version (V14 or above). The feature supports three levels (Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3). A higher level means a stronger vocal reduction effect and a more immersive surround experience.
