Poseidon M60 Boom Connection Guide for Projector and PS5:
1. About PS5 Bluetooth Functionality
The PS5 natively supports only low-power Bluetooth audio devices, such as the official Pulse 3D Wireless Headset and the DualSense controller.
Most third-party Bluetooth speakers or audio devices cannot pair directly with the PS5 because the PS5 does not support the standard A2DP protocol to output audio to external speakers.
In short, the PS5 cannot directly transmit audio via Bluetooth to most soundbars or speakers. If you want to play audio via Bluetooth, a Bluetooth audio transmitter can be used to connect to the PS5 audio output.
2. Connection Methods for Projector, Soundbar, and PS5
The PS5 has an HDMI interface, which allows for wired connections.
Connection Method 1 (Recommended β Simple and Easy):
Poseidon M60 Boom (Bluetooth) β Projector (Bluetooth)
Projector (HDMI) β PS5 (HDMI)
Steps:
Use an HDMI cable to connect the PS5 HDMI port to the projector HDMI port.
Set the soundbar to BT mode.
Enable the projectorβs Bluetooth, search for, and pair with the Poseidon M60 Boom (the projector must support Bluetooth speaker connection).
Once paired, set the projectorβs signal source to HDMI. The projector will display PS5 content, and the soundbar will play audio normally.

Connection Method 2 (Requires Projectors Supporting HDMI ARC and Having an HDMI 2 Port β More Complex):
Poseidon M60 Boom (HDMI eARC) β Projector (HDMI ARC)
Projector (HDMI 2) β PS5 (HDMI)
Steps:
Connect the soundbar HDMI eARC port to the projector HDMI ARC port, and set the soundbar to eARC mode.
-
Connect the projector HDMI 2 port to the PS5 HDMI port, and set the projector signal source to HDMI 2.
Notes:
Method 1 is the simplest and is suitable for most situations. It is also easier to operate than Method 2.
-
Method 2 provides more stable audio and video transmission via a wired connection, but requires specific device interfaces and is relatively more complex to set up.
