Recommend connection: ARC/eARC>OPT>BT

HDMI ARC/eARC Connection:

1. Check if the TV and soundbar are connected to the port that is marked "ARC" or"eARC" ("HDMI IN” does not support this).

2. Then connect the other end to the eARC port of the soundbar.

3. Connect the other end to the HDMI (ARC/eARC) port on your TV.

4. Check whether the TV setting path is correct.
Normally as below: Settings-Sound Output-Receiver HDMI (eARC) and

Sound -Expert Settings-Digital Audio Output -Auto/Pass Through

1)For general audio output, select "Auto" (Preference) to allow the TV to automatically determine the best audio format for your content.

2) If you're dealing with Atmos audio content (such as Dolby Atmos), choose the "Pass through" option.

3) The Dolby Atmos is ON.

5. Check if the sound bar switches to eARC mode.

6. Check whether the cable is not connected wrongly or loosely

Note: If the connection and settings are correct, but there is no sound, please re-plug the HDMI cable or replace the HDMI cable.

Optical Connection:

Note: Remove the protective caps of the OPT cable.

Please note that the protective caps at both ends of the OPT cable need to be removed carefully. These caps are usually in place to protect the connectors during storage and transportation. Once you are ready to use the cable, make sure to remove the caps to ensure a proper connection. Failure to remove the caps may result in a faulty connection or no signal transmission at all.

1. Connect an optical audio cable from the TV's Optical Digital Audio Out port to the Optical in port on your soundbar.

2. Check if the sound bar switches to OPT mode.

3. Check whether the TV setting path is correct.

Normally as below: Settings-Sound Output-OPT and Sound -Expert Settings-Digital Audio Output -PCM

4. Check if the optical cable other end has a red light on after connecting the TV port

If there is no red light, we suggest that to try a new optical cable. (the special material inside the optic cable, please do not bend the optic)

Note: If audio is playing from the internal TV speakers, mute or minimize the TV volume.

Note: Why doesn’t the Skywave F30 soundbar have an AUX port?
The Skywave F30 is designed with a focus on delivering a superior audio experience. It supports HDMI and Optical connections, which use pure digital transmission to provide cleaner, lossless sound with better resistance to interference—far superior to traditional analog AUX inputs. These are the mainstream options for high-quality modern audio.

If you need to connect older devices, we recommend using an AUX-to-Optical or AUX-to-HDMI converter.

The above covers all available connection methods and steps. If the issue persists, please feel free to contact Ultimea Customer Support at support@ultimea.com — we’ll assist you as quickly as possible.
