Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue:
1. Verify Connections and Settings
Connect:
- Ensure the TV and soundbar are connected to the HDMI ports marked "ARC" or "eARC" (Note: "HDMI IN" ports do not support ARC/eARC).
- One end of the HDMI cable to the ARC/eARC port on the TV.
The other end to the eARC port on the soundbar.
Adjust TV Settings:
A. For HDMI ARC Connection
- Disable Dolby audio.
- Set the TV's audio output to PCM.
- Typical TV setting path:
Go to: Settings → Sound Output → Select Receiver HDMI (ARC).
Navigate to: Sound → Expert Settings → Digital Audio Output, and set it to PCM.
B. For HDMI eARC Connection
- Enable Dolby audio.
- Set the TV's audio output to Auto/Pass Through.
- Typical TV setting path:
Go to: Settings → Sound Output → Select Receiver HDMI (eARC).
Navigate to: Sound → Expert Settings → Digital Audio Output, and set it to Auto/Pass Through.
Note:
Make sure your TV HDMI supports eARC, otherwise the Dolby Atmos audio signal cannot be transmitted.
Atmos: If you are watching a movie in the Dolby Atmos format, please set the audio output on your TV to Pass Through:
DTS: If you are watching a movie in the DTS format, please set the audio output on your TV to PCM:
2. Switch Soundbar Channels:
Action: Use the remote control to switch soundbar input channels.
Instruction: Toggle between different input channels (eARC-OPT-eARC) to ensure the soundbar is receiving the correct signal.
3. Replug the HDMI Cable:
- Disconnect both ends of the HDMI cable.
- Wait for 5-10 seconds, then firmly reconnect the cable to the ARC/eARC ports on both the TV and the soundbar.
- Ensure the cable is securely seated in the ports.
