Dealing with Shadows or Color Blocks on the Screen

Possible Causes:

• The projector’s lamp or lens is faulty, causing uneven projection.
• The screen surface is dirty or has uneven areas.
• There is a light source behind the screen causing reflections or light spots.

Solution:

• Check the projector lamp: The lamp may have reached the end of its lifespan, causing brightness issues or shadows. Inspect the lamp and replace it if necessary. If the lens is dirty, clean it gently with a lens cleaning tool.
• Clean the screen: Dirt or stains on the projection screen can create shadows or color blocks. Gently clean the screen with a soft cloth and a small amount of alcohol.
• Eliminate backlighting: If there’s a light source behind the screen, it may create reflections. Adjust the screen’s position or turn off the light source behind it.
