Specific Method:
1. Before upgrading, please confirm that the subwoofer is paired successfully
2. Download the installation package and copy the "update.zip" file to the USB flash drive
3. Unplug the HDMI cable, after the Soundbar is turned on, insert the USB flash drive into the USB port, WAITING will be displayed, and then it will automatically upgrade and the progress will be displayed from 0 to 100. Automatically standby after the upgrade is completed
4. Press and hold the button on the right side of "Dolby ATMOS" for 5 seconds. If the display shows "V161", it means the upgrade is successful
Note:
① Use an empty USB flash drive, USB format: FAT32 / ex-FAT, 128GB or less capacity;
② The file doesn't need to unzip;
③ It is recommended to use a newer USB flash drive;
④ The upgrade process takes about 3-5 minutes. Do not cut off the power or interfere with the upgrade process, otherwise, it may cause the device to crash;
It is recommended to choose the EQ mode according to the content being played. It is not recommended to choose the wrong one.
The sound effects of the "Music" mode are better than other modes.

To ensure that similar problems do not recur, we have taken extra care in the development of the new software version V161, which took several months to complete. We conducted extensive internal testing over these months, and the current results show no issues. If you encountered any sound quality problems with the V142 version, we strongly recommend updating to the latest V161 version.

I'm really happy with the new firmware update but it does have one small problem when connected using arc when my TV is turned off the soundbar turns off as normal then 5 seconds later turns back on again and it never done this before the new update

What is your TV model? We guess it may be caused by software compatibility issues.
Please turn off the HDMI CEC function to see if this problem still occurs.
We tested several different TV models [Sony and Samsung TVs] using V161 software and found no HDMI CEC function abnormalities.

Hi after testing for a few more days there is some problems the subwoofer is worse in my opinion has sort of a popping noise now when sounds are played and voices
I have purchased your product and I am satisfied with the surround sound quality. However, the subwoofer's performance in music mode, even with the bass set to +6, is below my expectations. Please consider giving users more control to boost the bass even at low volumes, such as allowing settings up to +12 or +24.
It would be nice if the central unit under the TV wasn't overdriven in music mode, and it would play at about half the volume.
I can confirm, that the subwoofer is brooming under dialogs, the frequency cut algorithm is not good enough.
I kindly ask you to make the app eq available, or make the firmware open source, so that I don't have to replace this otherwise excellent system.

Unfortunately I agree, you can still hear the humming od the subwoofer, mainly in quiet movie scenes and dialogue. It is unacceptable and annoying. You have increased the volume od the satelites but at the same time you have ruined the sound from the subwoofer so much. The sound that comes out of the subwoofer, especially during dialogues, always resembles the sound of recording in a wind. Do you really think that a customer who spent money on your product (the most expensive one offered) should also be a tester of this product? I've changed audio source and streaming platforms. The problem is still the same.
I have similar feelings as the previous speakers. The rear speakers are much more audible, which is a good job. The rest are negatives. The bass is worse, and the worst part is that in regular programs, the voice with some background crackling can also be heard in the rear speakers. I have a large living room connected to the kitchen, 40m², and I can feel that the bass has less power than before. I have the impression that v139 was better. Is it really that hard to create an app that allows every user to adjust the volume of individual speakers/sound scene and create their own equalizer settings? Sony was doing this in soundbars 10 years ago. Also, you can finally feel some difference in the various equalizer settings. The sound isn't bad, but after v139, I expected a better update than what we got. Ultimea, get to work already and make an app to configure these speakers because what you're giving the customer after so many months is a disaster.
