Poseidon D50 Customized Software-V49

Must read before upgrading:

If the sound quality of the factory version meets your requirements or the current factory version is V49, you don't need to upgrade the software version. (Switching versions multiple times may cause compatibility issues)

Before upgrading this version, please make sure your factory software version is V37 or higher than V37. (the version lower than V37, especially the factory version is V34 does not support upgrading

③ Please ensure that the main soundbar and the subwoofer remain connected before upgrading. If you upgrade without pairing, the subwoofer and soundbar software versions will be inconsistent, and the subwoofer will have no sound or not work.

④ If the device crashes and cannot be turned on after the upgrade, please continue to insert the USB to upgrade, maybe that can solve the problem,  if still failed, please get in touch with support@ultimea.com.

It includes the following improvement points:

  • Update the speaker alert tone based on V43;
  • Update the audio tuning;
  • Fix CEC compatibility issues;
  • Adjust the alert tone volume to reduce it.

Specific Method:

Step 1:
Download and copy the "fw5000.upd" and "fw5000.fot" files to the U disk (U disk format FAT32/FAT).

Step 2:
Please pair the subwoofer and speaker before upgrading.

Step 3:
Insert the USB disk into the soundbar and start the upgrade:
First, upgrade the subwoofer: the LED display during the upgrade process is from 1 to 100, and the subwoofer upgrade is completed.
Then process to upgrade the main soundbar, and it will display "up---", it will automatically shut down after the upgrade is completed. (if there is a TV EARC connected, the soundbar will automatically restart)

Step 4:
Press and hold the right side of "surround +" for 5 seconds. If the display shows "V49" or the Voice broadcast software version, it means the upgrade is successful.

    Hi Jeumont Laurent, I had the same problem. I assume that you already have your subwoofer connected, as well as the 2 separate speakers. To install an update on the D50, you need to put the 2 files “fw5000.upd” and “fw5000.fot”, which can be downloaded from the post, on a USB key, and ONLY these files on the USB key alone. Then plug the USB key into the soundbar, and it will start automatically after you've finished the soundbar will restart itself. You can check the version by simply pressing the “Surround” button in the middle for a few seconds. A series of numbers will appear, the second of which is “V049” (or “V037” if you haven't updated yet), which is the version you're using.

    yes really thank you but I do it but the USB key turns on then turns off, and the sound bar goes to arc and nothing else, you don't have to press buttons at the same time for the update to take place, thank you for your help, I have the subwoofer and the two speakers connected, but it doesn't do anything at all, I don't understand!!!

    I also had trouble the first time I had to check the version, it went quickly, and yes the letters are not very well represented, so the U037 is indeed V37, I advise you not to go directly to V49 but first try V43, then be SURE that the USB key is empty, because there are some that are configured to automatically add invisible files each time you plug it in, even if you delete them, so try another Fat32 or ExtFat USB key. In any case for my part I have the same problem as you at the beginning, then I changed USB key, it did not work, then when I deleted the excess files and I only deposited the soundbar update files, it worked instantly after plugging it in.

    So:
    - Check that your USB key is ABSOLUTELY EMPTY
    - Check that your USB key is in Fat32 or ExFat
    - Drag ONLY the 2 update files
    - Connect the USB key to the sound bar

    PS: Formatting your USB key can help

    Otherwise you will have to communicate this to the help support.

    really thank you, I formatted my USB key so logically it must be empty it doesn't matter, I'll give up and thank you very much for your help
    anyway normally I'm changing my sound bar at the end of the month because ultimea isn't really great, the surround sounds aren't the best, really thank you for your help it's really nice, I'm putting movies on it thank you very much, I prefer to get a TCL brand sound bar worthy of a real brand, not junk like ultimea thank you you're lovely I'm not going to spend hours updating a bar that I'm not going to use anymore, if they had been smart, they would have made an automatic update system, it's not normal that it's the customers who have to do manipulations, or make a youtube video to explain how to do it, goodbye and really thank you for everything
    cordially laurent

    Odd

    I am having the same issue as the above poster, version I am using is v37. I have tried updates for v43 and 47. Soundbar just flashes USB once then goes to ARC. I have formatted my USB drive to FAT32 and tried, I have formatted it to exFAT and tried. Same issue. Surely somebody somewhere has an answer! I am having issues with garbled sound and have to resync my subwoofer at least once a week!

    Bei hat alles super funktioniert. Von v43 auf v49. Ich habe einen USB Stick auf fat32 formatiert und die zwei Dateien drauf kopiert. Dann den Stick in die soundbar rein und alles hat sich automatisch installiert. Also null Problem. Danke

    Here is the perfect way to proceed with the firmware update. It is essential to format the USB drive before downloading the update files. Ensure that the subwoofer is properly paired. Then, turn off the soundbar. Insert the USB drive. Next, turn on the soundbar. Select USB with the remote control. The update will begin. At the end, turn off the soundbar and unplug it. Reconnect everything, turn on the soundbar, and then re-pair the subwoofer. There you go.

    Hi,

    I can't see the version I actually have while pressing "surround +".

    But I saw something while pressing "USB repeat", it show V025. I imagine that it's my current version. I tried the V43 and V49 on different USB disks, with Fat32 and ExFat, but nothing works with your methods..

    If I dont have the V37, does it mean I will never be able to upgrade it ???
