To confirm the noise decibel of a projector, it is recommended to set the test distance to 1 meter.
It's important to note that the noise decibel value of the projector can be affected by the surrounding environmental noise. Here are the noise decibel ranges for the projector in different environmental noises:
1. In an absolutely quiet environment with soundproof cotton (silent room), where the environmental noise decibel is 20 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 30 dB. In this environment, the noise generated by the projector is very low.
2. In a relatively quiet environment, where the environmental noise decibel is 25-30 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 30-35 dB. This is a test conducted in a relatively quiet environment.
3. In an ordinary environment with an environmental noise decibel of 35-45 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 35 dB-45 dB.
4. In a relatively noisy environment, where the environmental noise decibel is higher than 45 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 45 dB-50 dB. This is because the noise of the projector will be increased by the interference of environmental noise.
Please note that the number 2 and 3 are applicable to most customer usage scenarios.
These ranges provide some reference, but the actual noise decibel values may vary depending on the test method and equipment used.
How to reduce the impact of noise?
The Poseidon E40 has a higher brightness and power output, which requires enhanced cooling during operation to prevent overheating and potential malfunctions. Consequently, the fan noise increases with the fan speed.
1. We recommend placing the device at least 1 meter away from your ears for optimal use.
2. If you still find the noise too loud, we suggest switching the projector to eco mode, reducing the noise by 2dB (with a slight decrease in brightness).
3. Connect an external Bluetooth speaker, the sound of the speaker can cover some of the fan noise.
Steps to set up:
Other Settings——Economic Mode
Note: This mode setting is a function added to the new batch of inventory, which is expected to be the order products after July 15 (the status is closed by default)
If you notice any unusual noise, please contact Ultimea customer service at support@ultimea.com for further assistance.
