Here are the detailed steps:

Step 1: Please click the link to download APP:https://www.ultimea.com/pages/app

Step 2: Complete the pairing of the phone app and the Soundbar

Step 3: Open the app and find "My devices"- "Skywave F40", and click the card.

Step 4: Click the "Settings" icon to enter the settings page, and then click the "Firmware Upgrade"

Step 5: Click the "Upgrade Now" to start the process

Step 6: When completed, the page will display "Upgrade Successful"

 

Upgrade Instructions & Precautions: 

Upgrading your Soundbar via the app typically takes 15–20 minutes, though in some cases it may take 30–40 minutes.
During the upgrade process, please do not power off the device or exit the app. Kindly be patient while the upgrade completes.
The Soundbar will display the upgrade progress (0–100) on its screen.

 

Important Notes:

1. If the power is interrupted or the app is closed when the progress is below 50%, you can restart the Soundbar and reconnect to the app to restart the upgrade.

2. If the power is interrupted or the app is closed when the progress is above 50%, the app will not be able to reconnect to the Soundbar. However, the Soundbar will automatically continue the upgrade until it is complete. Please ensure the Soundbar remains powered on and wait patiently.

3. If the progress appears stuck at a certain point, please power off and then power the Soundbar back on. It will automatically resume and complete the upgrade. Please be patient.

 

If you continue to experience issues, please check your firmware version (switch to OPT mode, then press and hold the “USB REPEAT” button for 10 seconds), and contact our customer service at support@ultimea.com with your version number for further assistance.
