To test the noise decibel level of a projector, it is recommended to set the test distance to 1 meter.
It's important to note that the noise decibel value of the projector can be affected by the surrounding environmental noise. Here are the noise decibel ranges for the projector in different environmental noise levels:
1. In an absolutely quiet environment with soundproof cotton (silent room), where the environmental noise decibel is 20 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 25-28 dB. In this environment, the noise generated by the projector is very low.
2. In a relatively quiet environment, where the environmental noise decibel is 25-30 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 30 dB-35 dB. This is a test conducted in a relatively quiet environment.
3. In an ordinary environment with an environmental noise decibel of 35-45 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 35 dB-40 dB. This is a test conducted in a typical environment.
4. In a relatively noisy environment, where the environmental noise decibel is higher than 45 dB, the corresponding projector noise decibel is 40 dB-45 dB. This is because the noise of the projector will be increased by the interference of environmental noise.
Please note that the number 2 and 3 are applicable to most customer usage scenarios. If you feel that the projector is noisy, it's recommended to test the ambient noise decibels first to better assess the noise level of the projector.
These ranges provide some reference, but the actual noise decibel values may vary depending on the test method and equipment used.
