Attention:
Before proceeding with the software installation, please make sure that your projector software version is: V3.09 (Settings>About>Software version>"U0320-XXX" to check the software version)
Software Function Improvement Points:
① Solve UI interface problem ( WLAN keyboard "u" and "i" capitalization)
② Optimize keystone correction function
③ Add projector HDMI ARC/HDMI CEC function (for HDMI connect the soundbar, use the projector remote to control the soundbar on/off, and volume adjustments)
④ Manual focus improves adjustment accuracy
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Please prepare a USB flash drive, the format of the USB must be FAT 32 and the capacity of the USB must be more than 4G;
Note: The USB flash drive is empty and cannot have other files.
Step 2: The installation package V3.18, please download the file from the link:
Apollo P40 Installation Package-V3.18
Step 3: Copy the "MstarUpgrade9255BGA.bin" upgrade file to the root drive of the USB flash drive;
Step 4: Power on the projector and insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the projector, it will pop up a prompt "The upgrade file is detected, and the system will restart the upgrade";
Note: Power on the projector and make sure the projector recognizes the USB flash drive;
Step 5: The projector will be restarted and the upgrade process will be displayed as below;
Step 6: Please don't power off the projector during the upgrade process, the projector will automatically restart after the upgrade is completed. And then use the remote control to click on Settings>About>Software version>"U0320-V3.18" to check the software version;
Note: After the upgrade is completed, please immediately unplug the USB drive and it is recommended to delete this software installation package, otherwise it will automatically enter the upgrade mode again when booting up.

How do i update de V2.14 to the V3.XX ?

Could you describe the problems you are currently experiencing with the device? As we have multiple suppliers of Apollo P40, there are different factory versions. V2.14 and V3. XX are just two of them.
We can provide you with new software corresponding to the factory version if you need it.
Does version 3.xx include CEC support? This functionality is urgently missing as there is no way to change the volume though e.g. the FireTV remote

Our projector is only higher than the V3.09 software version that added HDMI ARC/HDMI CEC function(Such asV3.16 or V3.18), other factory versions do not support the CEC function；
If your projector is upgraded to V3.18 or V3.16. You can try to control the projector's sound on/off & power on/off by using the FireTV remote.

As we have multiple suppliers of Apollo P40, there are different factory versions. V2.15 and V3.09 are just two of them.
If you need to download the latest version, you can refer to the corresponding new version V2.18.

According to your current software version V2.17, Your software is already the latest version
Different batches of P40 have different factory versions.V3.18 is the latest version of V3.09.
You can also upgrade to V3.18. However, it is different from your current factory version, after downloading V3.18, there will be some differences in the UI interface and screen colors.
We don't recommend doing that, but if you need to, you can follow the steps to upgrade to V3.18.

I see that people here with 2.x.x were able to update to the latest version 3 to get this support but as per your statement, this achieves the new feature but affects colors.
