Remote control connected to multiple projectors.

I have just got a second Apollo P40 projector and after setting it up when i used the remote to turn on the projector it also turned on the other P40 in another room, and now the one new style remote is controlling both projectors.

I have followed the support article about setting up remotes but no matter the combination of having one or both the projectors powered on why binding the remotes with the correct projector i cant unbind the new remote from the other projector. 

As both projectors are going to be used at the same time i really need to be able to control them independently so if anyone has any idea how to unbind the remotes and make sure they only connect to the needed projector that would be amazing.
