S80 V161 is a huge improvement
After installing S80 V161 firmware, the systems sound improved a lot. Much stronger bass and 2 up firing speakers also have louder and improved sound. Congratulation to Ultimea engineers ans support staff for a job well done. My experience with Ultimea have been world class. It takes a little longer to update but the wait (to 100 on the soundbar display) is worth it. If you on the fence about updating, go ahead to do it and you'll be happy like I do. Thanks Ultimea.

Totally agree. Sounds much better, especially on BT music!
V161 loaded today. Sounds much better. Improved music with better bass.
I find the version too loud everywhere and the BASS is set too high, even at -6 it still hums along.
Does the speech have its own speaker if so is it possible to increase it via the remote control e.g. with the Dolby Atmos button on the left?
I have the new version and have a huge problem. There is no bass at all, only from volume 60...
but that is far too loud on the soundbar.
Can you adjust the bass higher? The remote control is already +6...
Some people earlier reported that after upgrading to V161, the sub produces an annoying static sound. Is that the case with you all? I just bought this soundbar, and it shipped with V159 or V139 (not sure if I saw that correctly). But the upfiring speakers are very dull and don't produce any effect at all. V161 is supposed to solve that problem. Should I upgrade to V161 (given the static sound issue) or stay with what I already have?
I was not satisfied with the sound until i updated to v161. After the update i love the way it sounds.
Just updated to V161 and instantly found that this firmware ruined the system. The first thing I immediately noticed was that the bass deteriorated drastically even at level 6 (max). The bass is so muted now that I can't feel it even on bass-heavy stuff. No improvement to up-firing speakers. The only difference I noticed is that the sound of the rear speakers has now increased a bit (which was already good).
Ultimea, Can you please send me the previous firmware version V159 and instructions on how to downgrade to that level?

Zu empfehlen wäre noch, daß man beim EQ die Einstellung musc nimmt, bei mov ist zwar die Sprache im Zentrum verstärkt, aber dafür der Surround Sound sehr leise. Ich hatte vor dem Update sowieso Probleme mit einem Surround Lautsprecher, bei dem sporadisch der Ton komplett ausfiel. Ich hoffe das hat sich nun auch erledigt.

Nachtrag:
Der Subwoofer gibt Nebengeräusche im movie Modus, ich muß dann -6 einstellen, also quasi null Bass.
Im Musik Modus geht allenfalls 0 oder 1, allerdings ist das viel zu wenig Bass.
Inzwischen weiß ich nicht ob der Subwoofer durch das Update v161 Schaden genommen hat, gibt es eine Möglichkeit eines downgrades ?
