Tapio V soundbar Not responding to remote

I have the Tapio V soundbar. It has stopped responding to the remote control.
I have checked the batteries and made sure new ones are installed.
I have utilised the troubleshooting page and searched the internet for answers.
I checked the IR emitter on the remote with my phone camera, and it appears to work when buttons pressed on remote (flashes).
The soundbar is emitting sound (connected to my PC).
The sound bar does not respond to the remote at all. I have disassembeled the sound bar and reasemblled and connected it back to my PC the same as when i received it. Nothing seems to work. I can no longer switch modes or lower and raise the volume. Please help as it is driving me crazy
