Since our projectors are made by multiple vendors, there will be different factory versions. If your projector's software version is V2.14, then the projector system cannot support V3.16, hope you can understand.
If you need further assistance, please contact support@ultimea.com, and we will service you ASAP!

Sadly it's not working with V2.15. After restarting there's no blue screen with upgrading software % info. There's still V2.15 on the board

    EDIT:

It's working now! I just updated the system to v3.16. Thanks! Now Chromecast 4.0 shows HDR support, HDMI CEC and ARC is working. Thanks for update guys!

    Answer #12438

Is the factory version of your device V2.14? Normally we don't recommend users to download the corresponding upgrade software of different factory versions by themselves, which may cause errors.

    Answer #12439

Could you describe in detail the problems you are currently experiencing with the device? As we have multiple suppliers of Apollo P40, there are different factory versions. V2.15 and V3.16 are just two of them.
If you need it, we can provide you with new software corresponding to the factory version.

    Hello Simon Karlsson
    Thanks for the feedback.
V2.14 does not support HDR compatibility.
V2.17 added HDMI signal source supports HDR format compatibility.
We have replaced V2.14 with 2.17, please click the link to download and install.

    Hello everyone,
I would like to reply to you as a whole
Different batches of goods have different factory versions, if the corresponding latest software, we will promptly release it on the official website.

In addition, regarding the question of whether V2.4 / V2.14 or other V2.XX can be upgraded to V3.16 or V3.18 you mentioned.
    These days after our technical department and other customers test, the answer is that it can be upgraded;
However, if there is no special requirement, we suggest not doing this. Because their UI interface is different, upgrading may have little impact on the color degree.

Thanks to everyone for the info!

    Hi joseph kinyuru,
    Thank you for your understanding!
Because the factory version is different, some functions can be increased, but at the same time, it will also have a little impact on other functions. So we do not recommend customers to do this. (V2.XX to V3.XX)
If you have done so and have any suggestions or questions, please let us know, and we will feedback to the technical department to further optimize the software. We will do our best to do well!

    Hi Timothy,

According to your current software version V1.0, our first suggestion is to download the corresponding new version V2.17. Of course, you can also upgrade to V3.18. However, this version is not the same factory version as your current version, so After downloading V3.18, there will be some differences in the UI interface and screen colors. So before you download the new version, you can refer to the website article: https://support.ultimea.com/hc/en-us/articles/26982658502169-How-to-confirm-your-Apollo-P40-software-version-and -the-corresponding-upgrade-version-
