Try following these suggestions for working around the issues encountered.
1.In standby mode (plugged in and not switched on), press and hold the remote control “home” button for more than 10 seconds, with the remote control next to the machine,
2.After pressing and holding for more than 10 seconds automatically switch on the machine to indicate successful pairing
